We have begun migration of most wikis to our new host, Amazon Web Services. All but the top 100 wikis are in read-only mode until the migration is complete. Estimated completion: TBD -- Update: Fri 10/20 11pm UTC - We have encountered some unexpected issues. Our staff is working around the clock to complete this process as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience.

Instances[edit | edit source]

Players in Black Gold Online will have the opportunity to team up with fellow players to raid special instanced dungeons. In Instances, players will explore the instanced map to discover special quests, fight through mobs of NPCs, and defeat bosses to acquire experience and rare-loot drops.

Joining Instances[edit | edit source]

Players can join in Instances in one of two ways: by either using the Instance Menu’s match-making feature, or by forming a party and walking through the gate to the Instance in the Open World.

Match-making[edit | edit source]

By pressing N or finding the icon on the right-hand side of the UI, players can bring up the Instance Menu. Players can choose between “Easy” or “Hard” difficulty, and between several different Instances to participate in.

Once players have decided, they will queue up to join a party through the match-making service. They must choose which role they will fill, and wait for the rest of their party to form up. The usual Instance will require 1 Tank, 3 Support, and 1 Healer for a minimum of 5 players.

Roles[edit | edit source]

  • Tank – Requires high HP, Armor, and Attack. Melee classes can fill the Tank role
  • Support – Nearly any class can fill this. Examples include summoners, off-tanks, crowd controllers, etc.
  • Healer – designated healer, must be a class with a lot of healing abilities

Open World[edit | edit source]

Players need to form a party of at least two in order to enter the gate to an Instance. Players can invite fellow players to join a party by right clicking their name and selecting Party Invite. When standing near the gate to an Instance, players can invite their party members to teleport instantly to their location.
